Summer - Make sure to plan for camp with our summer camp schedule (we are adding more camps). These camps are open to boys and girls and are grouped by age and skill level. The age range is 5 - 18 and skill level ranges from beginner to advanced.

Camps are offered in Thousand Oaks, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Santa Margarita, Aliso Viejo, Irvine, The Big Island - Kona (HI), Oahu (HI), and Kauai (HI). We have had record numbers attend our camps. These camps are open to boys and girls and are grouped by age and skill level. Players are taught the correct skills using a fun and activity oriented curriculum.

What is Team Soccer Direct?

Team Soccer Direct has been Training Americas Best for thirty two years and is a leader of camp programs and youth development in the United States of America.

First and foremost the camp is designed for kids to have fun and learn the correct techniques, tactics, and team concepts in the game of soccer. It is highly recognized as the standard of youth camps. We pride ourselves in developing the staff for many of the camps throughout southern California.

What is the emphasis in the day camps?

FUN!! LAUGHS!! LOVE OF SOCCER!! SMILES!! CORRECT INSTRUCTION OF YOUTH AT EACH LEVEL!!

The day camps cater to children ages 5 - 13. This camp teaches fundamental skill and tactical training for youth. Players are grouped according to age and skill. These are the essential soccer tools that children need during their developmental years. Developmental exercises in the age specific areas of technical skill, physical agility, mental awareness, and tactical decision - making are emphasized at different playing levels. Players will learn essential skills through a variety of fun challenging exercises.

Curriculum - Who developed the curriculum?

George, Dan Kuntz, Daniel “DOC” Kuntz are founders of the camps and have developed Team Soccer Direct Schools' teaching curriculum. George Kuntz is the men’s head coach at NCAA Division 1 University of California, Irvine and, Hawaii Youth Soccer Association Technical Director. Dan Kuntz is the California Lutheran University Athletic Director, Director of Soccer, and Men’s head coach. They all hold United States Soccer Federation “A” licenses and have Master’s Degrees in Education and Information Technology. Daniel J. Kuntz is an USSF A license, CLU Soccer Coach, Teacher, Arizona Youth Soccer - Hall of Fame.

Over 28,000 players have attended Team Soccer Direct Camps and through the directors guidance hundreds have gone on to play for their respective high schools, ODP state, regional, and national teams, colleges, and the professional ranks including WUSA, MLS, A League, PDL, and foreign teams.

Our founders have coached in over 1000 college games and have coached players who have played in or are on MLS teams, national teams, and coached ODP teams, and select teams. They have coached against Major League Soccer Los Angeles Galaxy (three times), Columbus Crew (2X), Chivas USA (2X), US U-20 National Team (2X), Mexico U-18 National Team, UNAM (Mexico), Cruz Azul (Mexico), Jalisco (Mexico), Mechelen (Belgium), Hostein Kiel (Germany), Waregan (Belgium), Bayer Leverkusen (Germany), South Korean College Teams, and the U – 18 Costa Rica National Team in addition to a combined over 60+ years of experience with club programs.

Your group can host a camp as a fundraiser. Last year many soccer organizations were able to raise money by hosting our camps.
